About the role
As a Senior Backend Developer at Legentic, you and your team will be responsible for developing and maintaining software applications. You will be engaged in developing innovative products. This includes:
Creating effective backend infrastructure and processes to manage large amounts of data and requests
Working on our internal, event-driven pipeline to support additional data processing
Support and help out on UI elements
Design and support new product developments

Qualifications
The qualifications vary depending on the level of the position.
Several years of work experience with Python
Sharing a GitHub profile with projects is a big plus
Knowledge of tools such as OpenSearch, ClickHouse, DynamoDB, or Cassandra
Experience in working with AWS or other cloud vendors
Experience working with container orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes)
Experience using a web framework like FastAPI
Experience working in event-driven architectures
Good verbal and written communication skills in English
Optional
• Knowledge of a second programming language
• BSc or MSc in computer science, data science, engineering, or a similar discipline
• Experience with data pipelines is a plus
